The word on the street is that the people want pictures of Laurel, so I guess I had better start sorting through the hundreds of photos we've taken in the past 13 days. Aren't second children supposed to be less-photographed?Actually, in our family I'm the main photographer, and I've taken more pictures of Laurel than I did of Isaac simply because I felt so much better after her birth.
So to get you started, here's a small album of the aftermath of Laurel's birth. (It's all G-rated, folks -- we didn't take any pictures of the birth itself.) There are so few pictures of her face because once I got ahold of her, I held on tight. I didn't even turn her around so anyone else could see. I think she was well over an hour old before Craig got to hold her.
