Still don't know

Isaac's questions are still not true questions -- he just states that he doesn't know something or other. These statements fall into several categories, only some of which involve actual requests for information.

Requests for definitions:
  • Don't know what "Earth" mean.
  • Don't know what "meanwhile" mean.
  • Don't know what "-ming" means. (This in reference to the third syllable of "vacuuming.")
Conversation starters:
  • Don't know what kind of cheese you like. ("You" meaning himself.)
  • Don't know who gave you this fire truck. (Again, "you" meaning himself.)
  • Don't know where this bed came from.
Random musings:
  • [singing] I don't know the rest of the song / Because you made it up (Once again, meaning himself.)

He especially likes to ask me the "cheese" question while he's lying in bed and trying to fall asleep. My heart sinks a little when I hear his little voice piping through the darkened room. He answers himself first: "I like all kinds of cheese!" Then what he wants me to do is list all the kinds of cheese he likes, and then go on to list all the kinds of cheese I can think of. He does like a lot of different kinds of cheese, to be fair. He especially enjoys a nice Parmesan, which he calls "Parmigiano" thanks to Craig's influence.
