Lately it's been impossible to get Isaac to pose for a photo. When he sees the camera he closes his eyes, or he turns his head, or he holds an object directly in front of his face. He is tenacious about it, too, sometimes keeping his eyes half-shut for many minutes just to thwart any sneak photography. I guess I should find his photography squint funny, especially when he tries to play while keeping his eyes nearly closed. Or at least I should respect him for being true to himself, because it sure says something about the depth of his stubbornness and resistance to participation. But instead I'm infuriated. Uh, do you think that's why he does it?
But I did manage to take a few decent shots of him today. I wanted to get him sitting side-by-side with Laurel in this chair, but he wanted to stand and hold both her hands.
