Isaac got his first tooth at the age of seven months and one week. Then he proceeded to get more of them in rapid succession; he had six teeth by the time he was nine months old.
Laurel is nine months and one week, and finally she has begun to produce a single tooth. (It's the bottom left front.) For the last nine days I have been attributing her profound sleep disturbances to her psychological distress at my absence, but perhaps it has just been teeth. Duh. Isn't that the kind of thing a second-time parent should remember?
Guess who is getting infant Tylenol tonight!
