Still happy

Tonight Isaac asked me, "Would you still be happy without me?"

He paused, and I thought that was the end of the question, but then he continued, "...if you only had Laurel?"

That was an easy one, and he was visibly reassured by my response, which included lots of hugs and kisses.

I really appreciate his straightforward manner. No need to wonder what he's thinking!
