I just received word (thanks, Mom) that some of the links to the photo albums on the sidebar aren't working. (Perhaps the bigger problem is that I haven't updated the albums at all since May.) Anyway, I updated the URL for the most recent album, but I can't guarantee that it will continue to work for long.
This is a fairly new problem with Kodak Gallery. They made some fancy changes to their website, but unfortunately now they don't offer a permanent URL for each photo album. This means that after I post a link to an album, it seems to expire after a few months. This seems crazy to me. A few months ago I emailed them to request a solution, but they didn't see it as a problem. They aren't really blogging-friendly.
So I just tried complaining again, and if I don't get a satisfactory answer, I might end up switching photo-hosting services. It's too bad, because I like the quality of the photos from Kodak Gallery, but it doesn't do us any good if no one can access the photos!
Just in case, does anyone have an alternative service to suggest? I just need a permanent URL so I can link to each album from my blog.
