First sentence

Each night before putting Isaac to sleep, I hold him in my arms and stand in the door to his room as we say good night to Craig. We wave goodbye, say we love each other, and then Isaac closes the door.

Last night Isaac raised his hand, waved, and said, "Bye, Da-da."

What fun! Now that he can combine two words, I expect all kinds of sophisticated communication from him. "Dog ball," perhaps, or "No bread." I just wish he could also say "yes," or even nod in the affirmative, because I suspect otherwise many of his sentences will be rejections, rebuttals, or denials.
