Otherwise I think we're good car singers -- Craig, especially, as he knows the lyrics to an astounding number of songs. Tonight as we were returning from my other grandmother's house, Isaac got fussy. He was quiet and satisfied if we sang, so we did. Together we sang a number of hits from the Burl Ives songbook, then Craig soloed on a few cowboy anthems, and he even attempted a Gilbert & Sullivan number that Isaac didn't seem to like. We sang:
- The Goose
- The Whale
- The Sow Took the Measles
- The Little White Duck
- I've Been Working on the Railroad
- The Farmer in the Dell
- The Streets of Laredo
- Red River Valley
- King of the Road
- When I Was a Lad
