Sleep record shattered!

You may recall I last wrote about Isaac setting an overnight sleep record back in August when he slept 11 hours, 43 minutes. The following month he increased the record by just a few minutes here and there, always stopping short of 12 hours. Since September, however, he's come nowhere near those times, usually hovering around ten and a half hours per night.

Last night he slept for 12 hours, 11 minutes. Not only was it a new record for his most overnight sleep, it was a freakish amount of sleep compared to his recent too-short nights. Over the last two weeks he hasn't slept that well; half the time he has slept for less than ten hours a night, and he has been regularly waking up prior to 7:00 a.m. So maybe he finally needed to catch up on his sleep.

Of course I had just written about his predictably sleeping 12 hours out of a 24 hour period! I now admit that I have no idea what to expect. But at least I'm well-rested and ready to handle anything -- this morning he slept until 8:30 a.m.
