New pictures

A few new pictures have been added to the album, including a better shot of this pretty darn cute elephant costume. Maybe the shoes aren't quite appropriate for the look, but I was just pleased that he left the hood on.

And why is Izzy wearing his costume on October 26th? Because 'tis the season around here -- the Halloween season, that is. So far this month we've gone to a pumpkin patch, our local elementary school's Halloween fair, and a toddler costume parade sponsored by our city's parks department (that's where this photo was taken). This weekend we've got a Halloween-themed birthday party to attend, on Monday our playgroup is having a Halloween party, and finally on Tuesday (which is Halloween, after all) we'll be going to a party at my aunt's house. Is the celebration of Halloween usually a month-long affair? Maybe experienced parents can tell me if this is typical.

All in all, Isaac will have four chances to wear his elephant costume. Unfortunately it's fleece and a little too warm for daytime use -- our afternoons have been over 75 degrees. (Not that I'm complaining ...)
