Huh?

I was uploading some recently-taken pictures of Isaac (not that we take pictures of anything else) off the camera, and I was about to delete one of them when his expression struck me as familiar. Curious, I took a little trip back through our photo archives.

Here are three photos, taken when Isaac was five months old, eight months old, and 20 months old. (The last two pictures are almost exactly a year apart.) I've cropped them to emphasize their similarity, but even if I hadn't, I think they have a strong resemblance. For one, in each Isaac is seated in the same chair. For another, he is always wearing blue. But most obviously, he has got the same expression on his face. It's not the most flattering expression, I admit, but maybe it's the "Mama, why do you keep taking my picture?" expression. Or maybe it just means "Huh?"
